Amway’s second annual Amway Cares employee volunteer event welcomed more than 600 Ada-based employees who served for almost 3,800 hours across 28 nonprofit organizations in Kent County. Amway volunteers worked to help in a number of ways, including yard and nature trail cleanup, food preparation and packaging, and workplace organization and maintenance. Volunteers also worked with Streams of Hope to help build a kid-designed playground as part of a KaBOOM!-led nationwide effort to end play space inequity.
“Amway strives to make a positive impact in every market where we do business,” said Will Templeton, Director of Amway Brand, CSR and Content Production. “Amway Cares reinforces our commitment to community and the passions of our employees.”
